feels like home
Food memories are striking. Whether it’s the smell, the taste, the act of creating it, or the way it makes us feel, we all have a trove of these food experiences we carry with us as adults. As a mom, I consciously try to create similar moments with my boys.
Without question, the recipe that reminds me the most of my mom and the comforts of childhood is this recipe for spaghetti sauce. Even now, I find myself making this sauce the first night back from time away. It is simple + feels like home.
